I make a very short post just to let you see how I converted an old Zara top that I used to go to the gym.
After a thousand washings was too large and I did not use it more so I decided to cut it and adapt it into a crop-top to use with skirts and high-waisted shorts that are so fashionable now (those of the photos are of Asos).
If you want even realize you and you have an old T-shirt or tank top (which goes down soft), remember not to cut a straight band. I have worn and I pointed with a pin the highest point, at the center of the tank, in the front where I was supposed to get to cutting, then with the chalked dressmaker I drew a half-circle to the sides. In this way they are more long and you can also insert them into shorts.
Now just cut along the line and the top is ready or if is a cotton tank top or a fabric that frays you can easily do the hem.
I liked the idea a lot, I used it all summer! I use it even in winter with an high-waisted jeans, a black necklace and a long black jacket.
I hope I was clear in my explanations: D and I recommend “CHOOSE TO RE-USE”
