My trekking in the 3 cime di lavaredo park  touching the Lavaredo, Locatelli and Auronzo huts.

Here are all the photos and info.

During this summer 2018 we had a weird vacation week because we booked at the last and consequently found the hotels a little haphazard around the Trentino Alto Adige.

One of the things we wanted to give was to see the 3 peaks of Lavaredo.

And we did it.
Arguing a bit with the weather.

But we did it.

WALK AROUND THE TRE CIME DI LAVAREDO

We left from our region, Friuli Venezia Giulia in the late morning because I had a few hours of work to do and we reached the “3 Cime di Lavaredo” towards lunchtime.

We arrived from the lake of Misurina taking the road with the entrance fee (30 euros) and arriving directly at altitude in the parking lot near the Rifugio Auronzo.

From here, guys, what a show!
I will have made 2000 photos.

The 3 Peaks are beautiful and impressive like never before.

But not only from the 3 peaks, but from all the surrounding landscape, the colors, the peaks, the paths that climb up from all sides, the fact that there were people from all over the world to see so much beauty.

A bliss for the look.

As always happens in these cases, I regret not having booked a bed in one of these huts to spend the evening watching the sun set.

THE TREKKING

There is not much to say about the walk around the 3 cime of Lavaredo apart which is gorgeous and easy.

My personal advice is to get to the Rifugio Locatelli because from there the view is beautiful, while I saw many tourists arrive at the first shelter and stop there.

We left from the Auronzo refuge and we followed the signs to the Lavaredo Refuge (which broke out of people, in fact, we would find out later, many stop there and are content with the sight of the 3 peaks “from behind”).

Just enough time to take a look at the map and we continued to the Rifugio Locatelli along with two Japanese in yellow clothes with backpacks and boots perfectly coordinated that, I admit, they went a bit slow and blocked the way to all the others.

Mindful of my vacation in Japan in January ( look at my video of Kyoto e Tokyo here ) and remembering how much the Japanese love the rows I was not very surprised that they did not move and kept walking, indifferent to the 10 people behind them who were starting to get excited.
In the end my dog Giorgino thought about overcoming the Japanese who, surprised, turned around and, having seen the crowd, they stepped aside.

Arrived at the Locatelli refuge the weather started to change quickly and we decided to give us a move also because we still had to get to our hotel in Anterselva di Mezzo.

Thanks to the sky a little gray the photos came to me “a show” for my standards.
I’m very happy because this day and this holiday will be an indelible memory in my mind thanks to these photographs.

Me, Simone and our Giorgino, happy at the beginning of holidays in the place we like best, the mountain.

The day finish so well.

We didn’t get wet and we reached the car in time.

The panorama was absolutely stunning during all the walk and is easy enough to do it with kids.

I recommend everyone to spend a day at the 3 Cime di Lavaredo, it is a place to see at least once in your life!
